"Literally heaven on earth! Can’t wait to return back. Timon and his family were amazing hosts, had great local meals and the scenery was literally like being in a secret paradise. Snorkeling and diving adventures to experience the most beautiful and breathtaking marine life in the world, in Raja Ampat. It doesn’t get any better than this!"

I wanted to say a BIG thanks to Timon, Helga, family and crew for a fantastic stay. It’s a homestay in the truest sense where the owners are involved in every aspect of your stay from pick up, activities, food to send off. The little slice of paradise in this remote part of the world is perfect for an off grid vacation. Helga’s cooking is so good I looked forward to every meal. It’s also obvious the positive impacts that the homestay is having on the local community. I came as a guest and left as a friend. I look forward to returning before too long!

Timon and his family were very attentive, we arrived a little sunburned and he was attentive at all times to give us cream, he cared a lot about us. The same owner receives you and leaves you wherever you want. He took us to get to know the city a bit, he made us feel very comfortable. The cabins are very nice and cozy and the food, both breakfast, lunch and dinner, was abundant and very tasty. Thank you Timon and family, we will definitely be back.

Such an amazing, mind-blowing place. I stayed here about a week in July and loved every second of it. It's truly paradise and I feel lucky to have been able to come here. The lodging is comfortable and the food is amazing. Timon's family treated me like family...makes it hard to say goodbye at the end. I dove several times with PapuArts' partner dive center, Olin Dive, which was excellent. They can pick you up right from the dock. I also had a chance to go and see birds of paradise -- definitely worth it. In general birdwatching here is great. A ton of hornbill, frigatebird, and frogmouth sightings, without even leaving the lodge. And on the last day, saw a juvenile red bird of paradise right above the dining area. Had the time of my life here...and would love to come back one day.

We had another great experience here. indeed it was the second time. We came with my wife and my youngest son. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The cooking is fantastic, everything is fresh daily, everything is cooked as our mother would cook it: it's really very good. But above all, the area is fantastic, the birds are even on the trees above you. Diving from the shore is also easy and very beautiful: the flora and fauna are very present as soon as you arrive on the reef. We found our hosts helpful and friendly. It's the perfect place to live close to nature, eat fresh food and enjoy the warmth and friendliness of the villagers. What's more: I was the first to paddle board in Wasai, courtesy of Timon ;) We'll be back for a 3rd time! Thanks' for all Timon & Elga Loïc
